The focus will be on national emerging trends in the economy. \n \n \n \nKevin's Bio:\n \nEconomist and commentator, Kevin Cochrane, is regularly read in the opinion pages of the Washington Times and the Washington Examiner.  He additionally produces a regular BLOG for NewsMax, and appears frequently on local and national radio and television news and talk programs. \n \nLiving in Grand Junction, he teaches economic thought part-time at Colorado Mesa University, and is a permanent visiting professor of economics at the University of International Relations in Beijing, China.  Formerly, he was the on-air economic correspondent for both the NBC and CBS television affiliates in Southern Californian (Palm Springs), and for 27 years was a senior executive of one of the largest banks in America.\n \nHe holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in economics from Whitman College and the University of California.  His regular contributions in the national press are read by millions and his writings are often quoted in whole or part by journalists, commentators, and broadcasters nationwide.  He also drinks beer and eats too many hot wings.\n \n \n \n \n \n \n
