Colorado West Estate Planning Council Fall Meeting

Speaker: Timely Updates - FinCEN Reporting Rules and GJ Commercial Real Estate Market Outlook

We will have Amy Nurenberg speak about the Grand Junction Symphony Foundation. The Grand Junction Symphony Foundation is a permanent endowment for the orchestra which focuses on legacy gifts, annual giving, and estate planning.

As a timely update, we will have Michelle Urlacher – President for Bray & Company provide insight to Commercial Real Estate in the Grand Valley.

Michelle is the President for Bray & Company and leads the support and direction of the services that we offer to our clients. Headquartered in Grand Junction, Colorado, with a satellite office in Rifle, Bray & Co works in Mesa, Garfield, Delta and Montrose counties. With 70+ agents strong with backup support of 60+ employees, Bray & Co operates a Residential and Commercial Brokerage, Real Estate Development Division, Property Management Division and Construction and Maintenance Division. Michelle has been in the real estate industry for over 20 years with a multitude of experience in different facets of real estate. Her experience has been a Transaction Coordinator, Appraiser, Commercial Real Estate Analyst, Commercial Property Manager, Real estate Marketing Director, and Operations Director. Michelle also holds strong principles in line with Family, Community, and Integrity.
Present Community Involvement:
Initiated and formed the Caring for Our Home Community fund in response to helping the community during the pandemic.

In addition, we will have Kelianne Chamberlain – Attorney at Hoskin Farina & Kampf  explain the importance of the quickly approaching FinCEN Beneficial Ownership Reporting Requirements.

Kelianne Chamberlain practices law as shareholder with Hoskin Farina & Kampf, Professional Corporation, in Grand Junction, Colorado.  Kelianne assists clients with estate planning (including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, counsel regarding beneficiary designations and prenuptial, postnuptial, and cohabitation agreements), probate, trust administration, real estate transactions, and business planning and transactions.  She is admitted to practice law in Colorado and Wyoming. Kelianne is a member of the board of directors of the Colorado Mesa University Foundation and the Colorado West Estate Planning Council, and serves on the Colorado Bar Association Trust and Estate Executive Council.  She also serves as a member of St. Mary’s Estate Planning Council, the Mesa County Bar Association, the Colorado Bar Association, the Wyoming Bar Association, and the American Bar Association.  Kelianne has served as an adjunct professor at Colorado Mesa University and is a frequent presenter in Grand Junction and the Western Slope on estate planning and business planning topics.
