Colorado West Estate Planning Council Winter Meeting

Date: Wednesday, January 31, 2024
Time: 4:30pm - 5:45pm
Location: Bookcliff Country Club - 2730 G Rd. Grand Junction, CO 81506
Speaker: Business Succession Planning - Michael Philipp & Ken Palmer

We will have Åsa Björklund and Suzanne Connors speak about the Conservation Lands Foundation. The Conservation Lands Foundation is the only nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting and expanding America's National Conservation Lands - 37 million acres (and growing!) of public lands, rivers, and trails.

We have CWEPC's very own Michael Philipp and Ken Palmer providing insight into Business Succession Planning.

Michael Philipp - Valuation Consulting Group:

In 2005 I received my CPA license. My work experience includes working in public accounting and for publicly traded companies in accounting and information technology roles.
In 2011 I started valuing businesses. I hold two designations in business valuation. I am trained in exit and transition planning. My work experience allows me to understand how businesses operate, what they are worth, and what options owners have.
When you get close to transitioning your business to someone else, you have lots of questions. I want to help you answer the questions. Before going through a business transition, having an exit/transition plan is vital for a successful transition. Contact me to talk about your transition out of your business and how we can build your Exit Plan.
